RD Corporation’s Gensan Shipyard & Machine Works, Inc. (GSMWI) is engaged in ship repair and maintenance services. Its product portfolio includes construction, dry-docks and afloat ship repair, ship recycling and alteration, salvage and towage, and other services needed in the maritime industry.
GSMWI serves a wide and varied clientele base. It caters to fishing, passenger and cargo fleets not only of domestic clients but also of docked vessels from other countries like Papua New Guinea, Taiwan, South Korea, and China.
Modern and first of its kind in Mindanao, its shipyard has two foating dry-docks with a combined lifting capacity of 4,000 GRT and twin slipways with a combined lifting capacity of 10,000 tons.
