It was a high time to give, since the Filipinos celebrate Christmas the longest. Could it be just because it is already a culture for RD to give being two of its core values speak about faith in God and Responsibility? The very reason we just can’t help but to love in action.
Grade school pupils from Ondok Gawan Elementary School of Brgy. San Jose, General Santos City
With the help of RD Foundation in identifying the community to be this season of giving beneficiary, Ondok Gawan Elementary School of Brgy. San Jose, General Santos City was chosen. Approximately 100 elementary pupils from Grades 1 to 3 were able to receive school supply kits containing supplementary items to support learning. From notebooks, writing pads, pens, crayons, and the like, all were packed by hands on RD Corporation employees. As the kits were distributed, a hearty warm arrozcaldo was also served last November 15, 2019, a Friday Afternoon.
The smiles of the students and kids as they receive their gifts were heart-warming. Joy was totally, in the atmosphere along with the thanksgiving of the school admin and teachers. As it was also a meaningful break for the RDC employees being physically there to hand the kits and serve besides doing the office work of day-to-day grind. A generous person will prosper, whoever refreshes others will be refreshed as Proverbs 11:25 states, what more! None there is than to pay it.
